We have extensive experience of advising employers on all aspects of industrial relations issues, including collective negotiations, collective consultations, negotiating and amending collective bargaining agreements, industrial action, applications for injunctive relief to restrain industrial action, claims relating to union membership and activities and claims for union recognition and derecognition (including applications to the CAC). 

We provide commercial and strategic advice in a pragmatic way on collective issues - which are often complex, urgent and sensitive. We often work as an extension of client’s HR or legal teams to ensure the right outcome from the business. We have the benefit of extensive expertise in advising unionised employers and dealing with a wide range of unions at all levels from regional to national officers and the in-house legal teams at many of those unions.
