Calum Maclean
Associate
Calum is a commercially focused employment lawyer with significant experience in advising on discrimination and employment tribunal issues. Having practised in Scotland he recently made the move to the northwest of England.
Calum qualified during the Covid-19 pandemic and resultantly has significant expertise in supporting businesses on large scale restructures, collective redundancies and TUPE. With Calum’s first ET claim having concerned post-employment victimisation he is no stranger to the more niche areas of Employment Law. Calum has a particular interest in employment status matters and discrimination issues and has acted for both employers and individuals in respect of these issues in the Employment Tribunal. While he advises across all employment sectors he has particular experience in advising retail, manufacturing and public sector organisations.
Aside from his legal career Calum was also previously a director of Glasgow Council on Alcohol, a local Glasgow charity supporting those with addiction issues and enjoyed the opportunity to help support the charity in achieving its objectives.
Outside of work Calum enjoys walking his dog, visiting the Scottish Isles and watching Arsenal.
